Representative Louise Slaughter, a life-long fighter for women's health, speaks at a Planned Parenthood Action Fund Rally in Susan B. Anthony Square Park in Rochester.
Louise is an original author of the Violence Against Women Act, a co-chair of the Pro-Choice Caucus in the House, and recently passed a bill in the House that would expedite justice for female soldiers who are sexually assaulted by a fellow service member. Louise's opponent in the general election is anti-choice Republican Maggie Brooks.
